Hello! I’m Emily.

I’m the creator and writer behind The Petite Foodie. I’m a wife, mom, business owner, & organizer extraordinaire. I grew up cooking alongside my mom, who is the best self-taught cook out there! There’s a nostalgia that comes with making those comfort foods I grew up on. My love of food (and insane sweet tooth) combined with an oh-so-sensitive stomach, lead to my “clean eating lifestyle”. Now my husband and kids share the same eating habits as I do!

I started this blog as a way to share my passion for turning my favorite meals into healthier versions, without breaking the bank! In this blog I share favorite recipes, tips on prepping school lunches and dinners so that weeknights aren’t horrendously stressful, and hacks for every day cooking and entertaining. My goal is to inspire you to get in the kitchen! Here, I’ll show you how healthy food doesn’t have to be stressful or daunting. I want my recipes to be approachable and appealing to all people! On top of my passion for healthy food, I mentioned I’m a wife, mom, and business owner. My husband and I have a home renovation business that absolutely fills us heart and soul! We have two amazing kids, Turner and Gracie. They are the peanut butter to our jelly. They’re absolutely hilarious and a blast to spend time with. They are the greatest gift we have ever been given! You will definitely see a lot of them around here, as they’re the best food testers on the block. After all, I need authentic feedback to make sure I deliver the best recipes to YOU!
