Grapefruit Frosé

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup fresh squeezed grapefruit juice *1 large grapefruit
  • 1/2 cup dry rosé
  • 2 oz store bought grapefruit juice
  • 1 oz vodka *optional
  • fresh mint to garnish *optional

Equipment

  • blender
  • ice cube tray

Method
 

  1. Squeeze the juice from 1 large grapefruit into a pyrex measuring pitcher until you have 1/2 cup juice.
  2. Into the same pitcher, pour 1/2 cup dry rosé.
  3. Pour the liquid into an ice cube tray and freeze completely.
  4. Once frozen, combine the frozen juice/wine, 2 oz store bought grapefruit juice, and 1 oz vodka (if using). Blend until slushy.
  5. Pour into glass and garnish with fresh mint.
  6. Serve Immediately.
